GAPP Services
Skilled Nursing Services
Depending on the approved plan of care, pediatric skilled nursing may include:
- Medication administration
- Tracheostomy care
- Gastrostomy tube care and feeding
- Respiratory treatments
- Suctioning
- Vital-sign monitoring
- Home ventilator support
- Communication with physicians and the care team
Personal Support Services
Personal support may help a child complete everyday activities safely and consistently:
- Bathing, oral care, and grooming
- Feeding assistance
- Wheelchair assistance and transfers
- Turning, repositioning, and bed care
- Observation and reporting
- Support with daily living activities
- Assistance with prescribed therapy exercises
